Job Description

CSIT develops products to advance the national security interests of Singapore. Our products are used in a wide range of use-cases, including but not limited to, real-time distributed processing and high-speed data pipeline. We are looking for talented data engineers to build mission critical products that process big data and deliver information in a timely manner.

As a data engineer in the Architecting & Data Systems product group, you will work on solutions that are crucial to the national security interests of Singapore. Your solutions will help sieve out useful information, from large volumes of data. You will participate in designing and building the systems, developing from scratch or building upon the existing framework and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prototype new products that enhance existing capabilities or provide new opportunities
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software based on best practices
• Work with the product manager and stakeholders to build customised system that continues to meet evolving operation requirement

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Software development experience in C/C++ and/or Python

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: web application development, micro-services, databases, APIs and CI/CD
• Experience with one or more of the following: SPLUNK, NIFI and Kafka
