Job Description

This is a hybrid position, both in-office and remote.

This internship is scheduled to start Summer Semester 2023.

We are looking for a highly talented and motivated undergraduate student who is pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or related technical fields.

As a Data Science Intern, you will:

• Work with open-source tools to implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms
• Explore, visualize, and communicate insights from real business data
• Contribute to impactful projects with our Data Science team
• Communicate your work to other teams and develop your skills explaining technical subjects to a business audience

A successful candidate will:

• Be self-motivated and able to contribute in a team setting
• Excel at problem solving, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Have demonstrated experience programming in Python, R, or a similar language
• Demonstrate understanding of core mathematical concepts for Data Science, including statistics, calculus, and linear algebra

Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and have completed at least one course or equivalent experience in statistics, calculus, linear algebra, and programming in Python, Java, C++, MATLAB, R, or another similar language.
