Job Description

The Opportunity:

As an analytics professional, you’re excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you’re fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. If you care about moving a mission forward as much as advancing the field of data science, this is the opportunity for you. Your analytics, math, and data science knowledge and consulting expertise, coupled with an original approach to your work, will help clients and stakeholders make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We’re looking for someone like you to steer complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with python, statistical analysis, time series forecasting, and predictive models for the intelligence community.

As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our National Cyber Platform team, you’ll learn and apply innovative data science methodologies to make a real-world impact on multi-million-dollar IT infrastructure decisions. You’ll grow your skills in data science and predictive modeling and shape the future of analytics. We’ll keep you sharp and moving forward in your career, with access to online courses, the latest tools and methods, conferences and training, and opportunities to develop industry-facing publications and presentations. Whether you’re using data science to help senior decision makers make major hardware acquisitions or developing predictive models to aid in system design, you’ll collaborate with a team that serves critical missions from end to end.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • Experience with quantitative analysis or modeling
  • Experience developing requirements and building statistical or simulation models

  • Ability to take poorly defined problems and convert them into questions for which practical quantitative solutions can be defined
  • Ability to be flexible, take initiative, and innovate to succeed in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, composing client deliverable quality documentation, analysis, and reports
