Job Description

Manages and assists senior leadership to plan the organization strategy using detailed analysis of data mining for insights. Manages staff and provides direction for a team of analysts. Employs modeling techniques that offer actionable consumer benefits. With the direction of senior leadership, fosters new analytical methodologies and leverages the outputs to inform and influence the direction of future analytical capabilities and strategic direction. Manages resources of digital analytics and research department to fulfill programmatic directions and goals.

Job Responsibility

• Provides direction and guidance to the Digital Analytics team by communicating with and developing staff members who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
• Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the system.
• Analyzes and creates a cohesive story using comprehensive analytic tools and strategies that allow senior leadership to produce actionable results for consumers.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing among the team pertaining to their specific area of expertise or interest.
• Identifies and leads opportunities to change and improve operations across team(s).
• Exercises independent judgment within specific guidelines and procedures to determine actions for moderately complex issues.
• Designs, develops, and executes analytics approaches and programs to support consumer initiatives.
• Assists leadership in setting strategic direction for key programs. Participates in key projects as assigned by leadership.
• Establishes analytical infrastructure and methodologies to measures organizational performance against goals and objectives.
• Analyzes data and provides insights to help drive quality decision making and strategic planning by leadership to drive actionable results.
• Manages budget expenditures for teams and/or small to moderate projects.
• Responsible for acquiring and managing staffing appropriately for departments and collaborating with HR to fulfill requirements. Responsible for performance reviews, corrective actions, promotional decisions and pay actions for direct reports.
• Builds strong interdepartmental connections to evangelize for the use of digital solutions and champion the ongoing improvement of digital capabilities; builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations.

Preferred Skills

• Data visualization (Power BI or Tableau)

Job Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 6-8 years of technical experience in data science and analytics preferred.
• 2-5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

The salary range for this position is $112,800-$197,200/year
