Founded in 2018, Flawless is on a mission to revolutionise the art of visual effects through artificial intelligence. Born out of a poor dubbing of one of our co-founder's feature films; we are changing how audiences will experience any movie in any language.

Our platform, TrueSync, is the first of its type neural network. Through a combination of processes, we can take the actor's original performance, match it with any foreign language, and produce a real to life output, preserving the original performance.

We are just beginning our journey and already see amazing potential for our platform to unlock how films are experienced around the world, whilst also pushing what is possible with AI.

The Role

As a Senior Image Pipeline Engineer, you will work as part of the team that is helping us take our product to market! You will have key responsibilities including:

• Designing and developing our image pipeline and the tools associated with it such as AI processing and image extraction.
• Creating analysis tools used to judge image output.
• Building software for the rapid selection of training material for our AI.
• Shaping the future direction of our technical landscape.
• In doing this you will work with a wide range of tools, languages and frameworks such as OpenCV, OpenGL, AWS, and Python to name just a few.

Requirements

For a Senior Image Pipeline Engineer to be considered for this role you would currently be working in a technical or engineering role within a VFX or post-production house and able to demonstrate the following:

• Proficiency in either Python and/or C++. You will be able to talk through the tools and frameworks you have used.
• Knowledge of various image file formats commonly used in the industry, including OpenEXR, TIFF, PNG.
• Experience influencing technology or tooling in your current or previous role.
• Finally, being comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment.
