We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team in Irvine, CA, who has broad business understanding, data handling, programming and data visualization skills to independently formulate the questions that will help business identify and overcome operational challenges using KPI’s. The successful candidate should be able to understand the business problem and translate it into a data analysis strategy, implement it autonomiously and bring outcome into a visualization for management decsision making. As a Data Scientist you will be expected to create business insights from the available data. You should be confident in your ability to structure the data in a useful manner, mine it, and make relevant assumptions, build statistical & correlation models, prove causality, and search the data for signs of anything that can deliver a positive business impact. You should be experienced in providing business insights and related visual analytics around the key areas of Financial Portfolio Analytics, Product & material reliability, Platform and service profitabilites, competitive advange insights and supporting Lean transformation metrics. The successful candidate should be able to communicate with various stakeholders across the organization, hierarchical levels and cultural backgrounds, should be able to build productive working relationships and being self-driven.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $99,700 to $137,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
