As Health Scientist on our team, you’ll focus on the analysis of performance, procedures, and processes of health systems of various complexity to improve both efficiency and effectiveness and address priority operational challenges. You’ll consult on the delivery of operational solutions and ongoing performance management to help achieve operational excellence, quality, and safety. This applies to a spectrum of operational environments across the life science and public health segments. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a clinical or diagnostic environment
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, including coordinating tasks with senior client supervisors
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive data gathering and analysis, provide qualitative and quantitative data science and statistical data analysis techniques for metrics and analysis, and present ideas clearly, logically, and persuasively in verbal and written formats
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Neuroscience, Kinesiology, Nursing, or Pre-health

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Agile principles and Atlassian products such as Jira
  • Experience with data analytics software, including Python, R, SPSS, Qualtrics, SAS, or SQL
  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Experience with federal health entities
  • Ability to conduct present ideas clearly, logically, and persuasively in verbal and written formats
  • Master’s degree in a health-related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
