Job Description

The Challenge:

We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical skills to create real-world impact. You’ll work closely with your client to understand their questions and needs, then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers, to help senior leaders within the client office, to make informed decisions. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience working in Agile environments
• 2+ years of experience as a database engineer, including planning, designing, developing, and modifying database systems
• 2+ years of experience with graph database technology, including Neo4j, Lucene, OrientDB, or JanusGraph
• Experience with big data technologies, including Spark and Elasticsearch
• Experience in supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, data structures, or graph algorithms in an academic or internship environment
• Knowledge of systems integration
• Knowledge of data analysis or data visualization
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have

• Experience with relational databases and data pipelines
• Experience with front-end application development and UX
• Possession of excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
