PROGRAM DURATION

Our program will begin June 5, 2023 and end August 4, 2023.

YOUR ROLE

Our Data Science intern will take on the challenge of using data science to improve data consistency within the Market Insights line of business and develop tools to align data from disparate sources. Data Science has heard from multiple clients regarding the value of aligned data to reduce manual work and improve trend validity.

An ideal candidate will be:

• Detail-oriented with a strong desire to document, test, collaborate, and share (this is not a put-on-headphones and work role)
• Data-focused with an understanding of datatypes and basic database concepts (tables, joins, selection, etc.)
• Understands the basics of machine learning: classification, regression, clustering, and can describe an example of each.
• Education Track: Data Science, Computer Science, Math/Stats, Industrial Engineering, or similar
• Technical skills: Python, machine learning, SQL, and database skills

PAY

Your hourly rate for your internship will be $20.00. Our pay dates are on the 15th and last day of each month.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

After a brief screening with a recruiting team member, you will meet with the project supervisor, your mentor and one additional team member who is familiar with the project to which you would be assigned if selected for internship. We expect this process to take no longer than two weeks, so that we can make offers the week of May 22nd and prepare you for a June 5th start date.
