Job Description

As a Senior Database Architect, you’ll be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of database structures. You will work with the team and customer to ensure business requirements are met with technical solutions and architectures recommended, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:

• Work with a team of software experts supporting various applications.
• Provide subject matter expertise in database administration and data manipulation.
• Prepare to take the current customer database implementations into more robust, distributed solutions including the cloud.
• Develop protocols and procedures to monitor and maintain automation for repeating database tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• At least 8 years of total experience with at least 5 years of experience in data management, data warehousing, database administration and data access solutions.
• An active TS//SCI clearance and at least 3 years of back-end development and/or database management in support of a custom developed application.
• A solid knowledge of data mining and acquisitions, database architecture, database administration, data archive recovery, database structure systems design, data modeling, database analysis and metadata repository creation.
• Experience developing data management strategies ensuring high availability, along with experience leading large-scale data management, warehousing, or analytics projects.
• Demonstrated industry leadership in the fields of database design and development, data warehousing, or data sciences.
• Strong communication and data presentation skills.
