The Analog Garage Research Lab in Boston, MA develops innovative and groundbreaking technologies for Analog Devices. The Algorithmic Systems Group within Analog Garage creates advanced algorithms in the fields of signal processing, computer vision, machine learning, artificial intelligence, communications, and other areas of electrical engineering and computer science, and implements those algorithms in practical and efficient hardware. We are looking for an intern to work within our group.

Our group has internship positions focused on machine learning and AI; signal processing; and hardware engineering. The internship activities will depend on the type of internship, but may include:

  • Creating novel algorithms specialized for applications relevant to Analog Devices.
  • Developing software simulations and analyzing performance of algorithms.
  • Analyzing performance of hardware systems.
  • Collaborating with other scientists and engineers to implement the algorithms on a suitable platform.
  • Documenting and presenting research activities.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related field is normally required. Candidates should ideally be working towards a Master’s or Ph.D. degree, and those closer to graduation will be given preference. Candidates should have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: signal processing, communication systems, computer vision, computational linguistics, machine learning, algorithm development, ASIC circuit design, FPGA prototyping, or software development.
