We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Principal Data Scientist who possesses a solid foundation in large language models (LLMs), Transformers and other cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilizing AI technologies to develop groundbreaking user experiences for our customers through our sophisticated tools and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an organization of several teams of data scientists who are responsible for researching, designing, and creating novel AI enhanced tools and services for customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to leverage AI to help our customers find, choose, and use Analog Devices products and services.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of AI-powered solutions, with a focus on large language models like ChatGPT and the OpenAI ecosystem.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and UX/UI design, to identify customer needs and develop innovative AI-driven features for our tools and digital platforms.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure alignment and support for AI-driven projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth research on AI technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and provide guidance to the team to ensure the effective application of AI solutions.
  • Develop and implement robust machine learning pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists in the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies by adhering to industry best practices, guidelines, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, with a focus on large language models (LLMs), Transformers, and GPT.
  • Proven track record of delivering AI-powered solutions in a product-driven organization.
  • Strong expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar machine learning frameworks.
  • Proficient in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools, such as tokenization, Part-of-speech (POS) tagging, sentiment analysis, and entity recognition.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passionate about staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and eager to drive innovation within the organization.
