Job Description

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Act as the interface between the business stakeholders and the data science team. Define business problems and identify analytics techniques to resolve them. Develop and communicate descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive algorithms and insights to solve BE Test Manufacturing challenges around yield, quality, and delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborates closely with business process owners and other engineering teams to identify and resolve test manufacturing challenges impacting cost, quality, and delivery metrics
• Defines required data sources and works with the data engineer to make these available
• Builds processes on how data is cleaned and transformed for effective analytics
• Conducts proofs-of-concepts and simulations of statistical and machine learning algorithms
• Develops and presents visualization of model mechanism and performance to stakeholders
• Keeps abreast of research advances in the field of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics

MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education:

Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Intelligence or any equivalent course

Work Experience :

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry specifically on test manufacturing, product engineering, or process engineering

Desirable Traits:

• Great analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; Six Sigma certification is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present detailed analysis to a broad audience range
• Ability to work collaboratively and build rapport with cross-functional groups
• Passionate learner with commitment to personal growth
