Job Description

Analog Devices, Inc. is looking for a Clinical and Algorithms Engineer to join our Medical Products Group in Bangalore. As a Clinical and Algorithms Engineer in ADI's medical products group, this position will be responsible for analyzing the clinical data to help build core competency of clinical insights for ADI’s medical products and engaging with medical professionals to drive success in clinical studies and chronic disease management solutions. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, global team of software/hardware/system engineers, user experience designers as well as third-party stakeholders to deliver clinical-grade end medical products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage a large volume of clinical data to expand digital healthcare team’s understanding in chronic disease management
• Engage clinical validation activities, conduct clinical studies, oversee data collection, and communicate with the external stakeholders including medical professionals to drive the success of the clinical studies
• Develop algorithms to extract clinically relevant information in disease management from various sensor signals
• Engage with multi-disciplinary teams of software/hardware systems/firmware and business/marketing to continue to develop and improve the medical system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS with solid biomedical/physiology background or equivalent.
• Solid understanding in medical physiology
• Strong background in data science and statistics with preferred research experience with statistical analysis on a large volume of data
• Efficient communication and presentation skills for external stakeholders of medical professionals as well as the internal development team with various disciplines.
• Strong signal processing background and proficiency in algorithm development

Additional Desirable Skills, Knowledges and Abilities

• Experience in engaging with medical professionals
• Having designed clinical study and human subject experiments
• Experience in prototyping the medical system and understanding in medical system/device design flow
• Understanding in various sensing modalities in healthcare settings and their physics
• Working knowledges of various programming languages (Python, MATLAB, C/C++, and etc.)
• Being able to work in a fast-paced work environment
