Job Description

Futurewei has openings for TCAD device simulation and modeling research internship. Candidate would be tasked with running TCAD simulations to identify the device structures, dimensions or materials of steep slope devices. Specific duties include development of physical based models and application of these to understand fundamental science in steep slope device design.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in TCAD device modeling and simulation.
• Knowledge in device physics (steep slope devices preferred).
• Self-motivated detail-oriented team player.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering or Material Science in bay area.

Hourly intern pay range: $18 to $59, depending on degree-seeking academic program (PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, etc.), years of relevant experience, year in school, internship location, credentials, qualifications, geographic location and other job-related factors.

Housing allowance and relocation benefit might be provided to intern candidates who meet the qualifications. Additional details on the compensation package will be provided to candidates during the interview process
