Job Description

As software engineer for perception for self-driving trucks, you will work on developing cutting-edge software that takes data from a multitude of sensors such as cameras, radars and lidars, and converts them into actionable information for downstream components like prediction and planning.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize the implementation of object detection and tracking algorithms to achieve best runtime performance in vehicle for different computing platforms e.g. Xavier, x86
• Accelerate deep neural networks inference and computer vision algorithms for self-driving trucks
• Build tools for evaluating and profiling runtime performance of perception for self-driving trucks

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in C/C++
• Experience in GPU architecture and CUDA programming
• Familiar with AI inference computing optimization, quantization, model pruning techniques
• Experience in real time and complex system software
• Understand the principles of operations for sensors such as camera, radar and lidar

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Experience with multithreading, memory management, parallel computing 
• Familiar in one or more of domains in: deep learning and machine learning for computer vision, geometric computer vision, multiple-view geometry, 3D reconstruction, state estimation, tracking, sensor fusion
• Familiar with one or more of Pytorch/Tensorflow
• Experience in developing software for automobile industry

Annual Salary: $125,000 - $155,000
