We are looking for skilled Data scientists for our Global Supply Chain and Operations teams. This position could be fully remote within Czechia, or you can visit Zebra offices in Vlněna.

A new Zebra design develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes requirements for highly complex data science constructs, statistical ML models, and decision support systems and may lead a team for the same. Ensure correct constructs and “most suitable” models are incorporated in solutions, projects, and products.
• Designs, Architects, and Integrate highly complex data science projects. Completes all phases from data acquisition to incorporating into product/solutions. Follows
• through all-in-process, final inspection, and post-production needs such as regular revision of the models for consistent fulfillment of business objectives.
• Drives reviews of the data science constructs, models, and their implementation.
• Creates new data science constructs, models, algorithms, technologies, and solutions based on the novel and unique ideas.
• Defines requirements, and data science constructs and may design complex new models and decision support systems to aid in the analysis and solving of complex business problems.
• Exercises judgment (with broadly defined policies and practices) in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Make effective decisions for “Build VS Buy” by using industry-standard auto ML models, Commoditized Statistical and relevant ML models, AI models, and algorithms for an optimized solution
• Makes use of Rapid Development Tools (Business Intelligence Tools, Graphics Libraries, Data modeling tools) to effectively communicate research findings using visual graphics, Data Models, ML model features

Qualifications:

• Preferably 5+ years’ experience as Data Scientist OR in a related field (Statistics/Operation Research) OR as System Architect/Enterprise Architect
• Machine Learning Experience and Deep Learning experience
• Working knowledge of Big Data–Hadoop, Cassandra, Spark R. Hands-on experience preferred
• Data Mining, Data Visualization and visualization, and analysis tools including R
• Be able to design and conduct analysis - plan analysis and address competing explanations, determine the best way to evaluate results, and explore structured and unstructured data appropriately
• Your soft skill set includes problem-solving and critical thinking and good business intuition
• Fields you could use in this position: AI, Communication/Appropriate articulation, Data Architecture, Risk Analysis /Systems Engineering
