SUMMARY OF POSITION

We're seeking a talented and diligent student to join our internship program as a data scientist intern. In this role, you will be responsible for developing machine learning models that predict organic user installs and revenue for one of our featured games. The insights you generate will help us allocate resources effectively and drive organic traffic across PB games.

The duration of this internship will be 12 weeks.

Our headquarters are in Los Altos, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.

Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct research and develop machine learning models to support our organic traffic project
• Analyze a large data set and leverage the data to build a machine learning model to provide actionable insights
• Visualize and present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Deploy the model into the product via AWS

REQUIREMENTS

• Master degree or PHD in a quantitative discipline: statistics, computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, etc.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language( such as python)
• At least one year experience with machine learning modeling
• Experience on visualization tools, such as Tableau

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $30/hour.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

In some cases, compensation may fall outside of this range depending on factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
