We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join the Marketing Intelligence team. As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will focus on driving marketing optimization for our marketers across the globe. You have a passion for all things data, and get a kick from providing actionable insights and seeing your data products being used in decision making. You will have a deep understanding of the reporting capabilities in the different marketing tools we use and make sure we’re globally aligned on the way we report in marketing. You are a proactive business sparring partner and help guide your stakeholders line of questioning to make sure you’re answering the right question. Whether it is identifying the most impactful advertising campaigns, providing regions with direction on their event strategy, or sharing insights into overall marketing performance; the role includes the full spectrum.

What you’ll do

  • Evaluate Marketing campaign performance and provide learnings and recommendations that will drive positive commercial impact
  • Define KPIs, build automated dashboards to help teams make faster and informed decisions. Support management in OKRs and ensure adoption across Global and Local marketing teams.
  • Apply creative analytical problem-solving skills to a wide variety of marketing questions to deepen our understanding of campaign effectiveness, customer journeys, and go-to-market performance
  • Implement and use models, such as multi touch attribution or lead scoring to help drive strategic and operational changes across all marketing initiatives
  • Gather requirements from different stakeholders and prioritize work with the highest business impact first
  • Work cross-functionally with different teams across the Commercial Organization, both inside and outside of Marketing
  • Work closely with our Data Orchestration team to implement data from our Customer Data Platform into our Reporting and Analytics Data Products

Who you are

  • You have 3+ years experience in an analytics role, preferably within marketing in a B2B environment
  • Experience with Python, SQL & BI tools is a must (e.g. Looker/Tableau/PowerBI)
  • Experience using CRM and Marketing Automation tools is a must (e.g.,Salesforce, Marketo)
  • Experience with distributed systems (Redshift, Hadoop, BigQuery) is a plus.
  • Experience using GA4 is a plus
  • You are able to scope data tables, transform and analyze large amount of data efficiently with attention to detail and accuracy
  • You have strong project planning and stakeholder management skills and are ready to take ownership of your own projects from beginning to end, from project conceptualization and scoping, to implementation and retrospectives
  • You are a critical thinker who is not afraid to challenge the ideas of others & have strong problem solving skills
  • You are able to communicate across multi-functional teams for technical and non-technical audience
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment, working across cultures, departments and timezones and are able execute with autonomy
  • You are a team player, actively listening to team members, respecting their ideas and aiming to improve our products or processes at hand
  • You are open to receiving and sharing constructive feedback
