Your responsibilities

  • Build new relationships with customers and cultivate existing ones to secure growth and customer satisfaction
  • Engage opinion leaders, demonstrate the strengths of our instruments on the most complex measurements at customers' labs, and represent Zurich Instruments at major trade shows with a focus on Germany
  • Provide exceptional user support, including on-site system integration
  • Produce material such as product documentation, website content, blog posts, application notes, videos, etc.
  • Help shape the product development process to address the unmet needs of customers and strengthen Zurich Instruments' technology leadership in the test and measurement market

Your profile

  • PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience in a research environment
  • Solid scientific track record and practical lab experience
  • Knowledge of measurements in one or more of our application fields, such as quantum technology, photonics, scanning probe, sensors, or nanotechnologies.
  • Experience in programming languages such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or C is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluent English is a must
  • Sales experience and/or an interest to develop your skills in this area
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and know-how of basic marketing strategies are an advantage
