Role Summary

This role is an integral member of the Product Insights and Evidence (PIE) team. As a Research Scientist you will partner with a diverse and talented team of epidemiologists, clinical data scientists, medical informaticists, technology and data product managers, and clinical research nurses to provide scientific support for the development and maintenance of ConcertAI data products. You will have training and hands-on experience in study design, data analysis, and study operations with real-world data. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across a broad portfolio of research initiatives supporting multiple oncology indications.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development of materials to support the data product planning roadmap though synthesis of information from multiple sources, including review of scientific literature, publicly available databases, and customer feedback
  • Managing data product release documentation which includes information gathering from various stakeholders, consolidating information from meetings, slide decks, slack and other forms of communication, coordinating efforts to align documentation, and following up with cross functional teams to identify and rectify gaps prior to product releases, eventually building a process to systematically addressing gaps. This effort requires comprehensive understanding of data product process.
  • Develops and maintains product documentation and presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Interrogates and presents descriptive analyses of ConcertAI’s data products
  • Effectively works and communicates cross-functionally with various teams including Customer Success, Clinical Patient Solutions, Informatics, Data Product Data Science, Data Product Design and Management
  • Collaborates with clinical data scientists to contribute to development of abstracts, posters and manuscripts that utilize ConcertAI’s data products
  • Implements processes to facilitate communication between PIE and other internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • At least a master's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research or other quantitative and/or public health field OR at least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Training or research experience related to oncology is preferred
  • Experience designing and conducting critical review of Real World Data studies
  • Applied knowledge of analytical tools such as R, SQL, etc.
  • Competency in use productivity software (e.g., Atlassian suite such as Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present information to groups of customers, vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in carrying out duties on multiple projects, managing deadlines, establishing priorities for work activity, and solving practical problems
