Job Description

Responsibilities

• Extend statistical R package
• Author report that is a basis for the package extension
• Develop and deploy Interactive web application (Shiny) to communicate methodological results
• Present work at team meeting
• Publish work to CRAN
• Participate in team/dept meetings to observe as well as present their work/learning
• Gain understanding of drug development process while being exposed to various different functions within and outside of Data Science.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role

• Strong knowledge and understanding of statistical methods such as meta-analysis, mixed effect modeling, longitudinal modeling, time to event analysis
• Strong programming skills in R. Demonstrated knowledge of data visualization and exploratory analysis.
• Ability to work well in teams, and present ideas clearly and concisely.

Desirable

• Experience in the application of Shiny
• Experience working with cloud computing
• Good coding practice, source code management (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
