Responsibilities

You will be part of a growing and dynamic team of business insights and analytics professionals whose main goal is to help our marketing, sales, finance, and business leadership partners achieve their business goals through data, reporting, and analytics. Advisor – ML Engineering is responsible for automating, deploying ML pipelines leveraging our cloud computing environment. This is a technical (research) path role and reports to the Associate VP of Data Science

Key Objectives

  • Be a key contributor on moving code from on-prem analytic ecosystems to cloud pipelines
  • Contribute to and help build automated QA checks and prediction drift pipelines.
  • Stay up-to-date and share best practices in the ML Ops deployment space

Basic Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or other quant field
  • Experience with deploying solutions in at least one cloud platform (AWS experience is preferred)
  • Experience with deploying solutions leveraging containers (Docker, Kubernetes etc)
  • Experience with code version control software (git / github)
  • High proficiency with R or Python
  • Experience working in a business facing environment

  • Strong pharmaceutical data and modeling skills coupled with business acumen, and an ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong track record leading and delivering complex cross functional projects
  • Proven ability to rally resources to achieve project and business results
  • Deep understanding of financial and sales/marketing business principles
  • Experience with commercial analytics practices and processes
  • Experience with collaborating with remote/offshore teams
  • High level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situations
  • Strong proficiency with R, Python and SQL
