Position description:
Calico is seeking a computational biologist / statistician to collaborate with the proteomics team and scientists both in basic and translational research. The candidate will primarily work with mass spectrometry proteomics data and would be expected to have a detailed knowledge of the data generating process. Candidates without proteomics experience would be offered extensive training on the topic. The candidate will partner closely with our Discovery & Translational scientists to facilitate a deep understanding of the connections between questions of scientific interest and the parameters in our statistical models, and will use exploratory data analysis techniques and visualizations to help generate new biological hypotheses and insights.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $138,000. Actual pay will be based on a number of factors including experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for two annual cash bonuses.
