Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead development of the infrastructure required to support development of our client’s Big Data and AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design sessions; Architect, Document and Develop technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between the client’s current and desired end-states
• Strategize, Design, Architect and implement scalable Big Data & Cloud solutions
• Build Next Generation Data Platforms on Data Lakes to enhance core DW/BI capabilities
• Implement Solutions across multiple Cloud distributions: AWS, S3, EC2, Redshift, RDS, NoSQL, EMR and/or Google Cloud, BigQuery or Azure, HDInsights
• Thoroughly assess client needs and lead effective strategic and technical engagements
• Devise solution patterns using leading cloud, open-source and vendor technologies
• Support responses to RFI/RFP’s and other customer inquiries during the sales process
• Work closely with product teams to improve and support their development and release processes. This will include developing and maintaining in-house tools and scripts to support the product development team’s needs
• Scoping and defining strategies for robust data collection at scale, contributing to data labeling and annotation efforts and effectiveness in accelerating high-quality data science deliverables
• Engaging in strategic discussions to identify problems while measuring and improving the quality of workflows. Identify and implement opportunities to improve tooling and implementation of scalable solutions

Job qualifications:

• 3+ years experience successfully delivering Big Data data infrastructure solutions
• In-depth experience building solutions using public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients
• The ability to develop effective presentations and proposals
• Experience using data mining techniques and working with data-intensive applications
• Advanced knowledge of AI/ML models and algorithms and experience operationalizing Analytics for business consumption
• Knowledgeable and experienced in Application CICD implementations using (for example) GitHub, Jenkins and Nexus
• DevOps and Agile Methodologies
• Experience in NoSQL/SQL database design, development, data modeling and building semantic layers
• In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
• Hands-on development using BI tools like, Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
• Certified Cloud Architect in AWS, Azure or GCP
• Fluent English
