We are looking for high performing and motivated interns in various areas within DTFS organizations.

The Data Scientist Intern will assist the many data science use cases planned for 2023 and several ad-hoc use cases to support business strategy. The Data Science Intern will assist the Data Scientists to perform data collection, frame the overall project objective, analysis and create insights in a comprehensive presentation to be delivered to business partners.

Responsibilities:

• The intern will join daily standup, weekly team meeting and meet with data scientists on a regular basis to understand the active projects
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes. Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Collaborate with internal and external teams

Basic Qualifications:

• Working towards or completed bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Information Technology, Marketing or related field
• Knowledge of programming languages; including Python or R
• Organizational skills required
• Creative thought mindset required
• Interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment required

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Familiarity working with analytics or quantitative team in the past is a plus
• Pursuing Graduate degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Information Technology, Marketing.
