Job Description

BlueConduit software engineers develop, launch, and maintain software services. Single page applications, web APIs, databases, feature warehouses, ETL pipelines, and machine learning tooling, and cloud infrastructure, all fall under the ownership of the Engineering division. Working closely with key members of the team, you will get an overview of the work streams in progress before settling into a project defined specifically for your tenure at the company.

Our founding members are early researchers in the application of modern machine learning methods to resource constrained infrastructure projects, and are seeking to codify the best practices and core competencies required to adequately serve public health and efficiently and equitably guide the allocation of dollars in this unique vertical.

BlueConduit is seeking a intern who will:

• Contribute to the full stack of software development (e.g., client frontends, application backends, data pipelines / ETL processes, cloud infrastructure) to serve clients and internal stakeholders.
• Pair program with peers in engineering to understand the layers of the modern web application stack.
• Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement shared ML tools and libraries.
• Attend agile meetings and rituals.
• Present at demos.
• Engage with the open source community and maintain repositories as needed.
• Engage in design processes to gather stakeholder and user feedback to continuously iterate on product.
