Come and Join SLB’s Embedded AI Lab in Paris. We are currently actively hiring bright minds specialized in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Be part of the adventure with a multinational company bringing a little bit of the Silicon Valley in Paris. Join a team of 20+ young and fun passionate Data Scientists, working in sprints on real business challenges, in tandem with dedicated business experts. Job Mission:

The AI Team Leader is responsible for directing and motivating the AI Lab team to develop and bring to market innovative and low-cost products and solutions. The AI Team Lead assumes accountability for the performance of the team, including responsibility for planning, status reporting, process development, organization, stakeholder management and personnel management.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the AI Lab projects aligned with established management methodologies, tools, and procedures.
• Support and strength technically the AI Lab team with data science expertise
• Supervise requirements management, design, development, testing, documentation and user acceptance.
• Create, own and manage the project plan.
• Provide required reporting promptly and efficiently; organize required milestone meetings.
• Define performance goals for the team.
• Prepare and review documentation.
• Manage internal and external resources in cooperation with Métier Managers. Recruit, develop and motivate project team members.
• Help plan and conduct regular product technical reviews.
• Ensure through good communication that the quality of deliverables meets field and stakeholder expectations.
• Protect intellectual property through the patent process.
• Ensure adherence to company trade control compliance policies.
• Assist in the development, validation and testing of the deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 5 years or more of experience in Artificial intelligence
• Experience of team/project management

Skills:

• Strong knowledge in AI, especially in time series, computer vision and Natural Language Processing
• Required experience with one or more backend programming languages– C++, C#, Java, Python..etc
• Required experience with one or more open-source framework for front-end development like React, Angular etc.
• Experience continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies with Azure DevOps
• Experience with one or more Cloud Platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
• Understanding of micro services architecture with experience designing and implement RESTful services
• Knowledge of application networking and troubleshooting
• Knowledge with test driven software development
