Job Description

Redhorse Corporation is actively seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enterprise Data Engineering Functional Specialist (FS)/Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join the Algorithmic Warfare Cross Functional Team (AWCFT) to bring increased artificial intelligence capability to the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), primarily through the acquisition or development of computer vision algorithms capable of performing a number of automated tasks. This software engineering expert will assist in building enterprise applications of AI, managing on-site deployments, and executing focused, customer-oriented solutions with dynamic input from disparate user groups.

Tasks, duties, and responsibilities include:

• Support cross-functional team to develop and implement multiple IT architectures and R&D engineering tools to build out AI/ML training data foundation. Training data foundation will be used to develop Al algorithms that can help solve novel DoD problems and for deployment on new architectures as well as legacy networks and systems, for users who may be unaccustomed to AI/ML tooling.
• Apply modern engineering techniques to develop decision support software prototypes.
• Propose and execute novel, cutting-edge research in Al-enhanced decision systems.
• Evaluate Al solutions in the context of sponsor requirements and produce actionable recommendations.

Basic Minimum Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials include:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, STEM or computer science/engineering with 5 years of experience in any combination of military/government/civilian, or contractor experience with Government or DoD or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with 8 years of experience in any combination of military/government/civilian, or contractor experience with Government or DoD is required
• Demonstrated ability to articulate Al-specific challenges and identify gaps.
• Interest in rapidly responding to new problems across a variety of domains.
• Excellent communication written and verbal skills to articulate challenging technical concepts to both lay and expert audiences.
• Ability to work independently to learn new technologies, techniques, processes, languages, platforms, and systems.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of cross-functional teams.
• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, JS, Java.
• Track record of successful deployment of AI-enhanced decision systems that have been used by key decision-makers is highly desired.
• Current and active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with current eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) is required. Candidates who do not have a current and active TS/SCI security clearance will not be considered for this role.
