What you'll get to do...

We are seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Business Analytics team at GoDaddy, focusing on SEO. Integral to our company growth through the insights you uncover and the thoughtful recommendations you make! You will be leading our analytics efforts on SEO at GoDaddy, working as part of a 150-person strong Data Science, Products, and Analytics team. Working independently on given projects, you then derive the steps vital to accomplish the desired outcomes and execute on those!

  • Define SEO Analytics at GoDaddy. Work with your SEO business partners to understand their goals and objectives, develop analytic requirements, provide answers to business questions, make recommendations, and join forces in driving business improvement and optimisation.
  • Design, build and develop data models, database tables, Tableau data sources, and KPIs. Partner with Data Engineering teams to improve data structures in a standardised way.
  • Build dynamic and rich dashboards. Show results in easy-to-understand visualisations that help our partners understand their business and its drivers.
  • Document, educate, and socialise the data, analysis and insights across other analytics teams and business partners.
  • Use data to tell a story. Build a consistent and compelling narrative of the impact of SEO on the overall business.
  • Conduct in-depth analytics to identify actionable insights, suggest experiments, and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating findings to cross-functional groups.
  • Work alongside analysts on our advertising, website, and business teams to collaborate on cross functional analytical projects.

Your experience should include...

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, etc… Postgrad degree a plus.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in marketing analytics, preferably with experience of SEO and digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Adthena, or similar.
  • Experience using SQL to discover, aggregate and extract data a MUST. Large dataset experience (e.g. Hive, AWS) a plus. You need to be comfortable with pulling, joining, re-shaping and analysing large, disparate and complex datasets.
  • Experience with data visualisation and business intelligence tools like Tableau, Data Studio.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques, including trend analysis, forecasting, and experiment design.
  • Knowledge of analytical programming/scripting languages e.g. Python, R a bonus.
  • Knowledge of Data Engineering toolkit a plus.
  • Highly analytical, accurate and with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions independently and work in an agile, fast-paced environment, striking the right balance between short-term, medium-term and long-term objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills with proven project management skills managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
