Job Description

At KLYM, the first online platform that offers 100% digital financial solutions to companies, we are looking for a Data Scientist.

Your mission will be:

• You will extract insights from historical data to communicate them to users effectively. You will have to train, define, test and deploy models to solve business questions about the occurrence of future events, using state-of-the-art tools and algorithms. 
• You will have the following functions:
• Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the relationships implicit in the data and be able to communicate it in a business-oriented language.
• -Participate in the analysis committee, in which the team's planning and objectives are defined based on business requirements.
• -Design, from scratch, custom analytical models; using historical data to solve business questions.
• -Validate the quality and consistency of the data during your daily work and report if something is not working correctly.

What you need to apply:

• You must be a professional in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics or engineering and have a field in the use of Data Science and Big Data to solve business questions and deliver end-to-end Data Products.

Technical skills

• Are you proficient in Python, Pandas, Numpy and Matplotlib / Plotly for data exploration and visualization? Then you have our attention.
• You should know how to implement at least one of the similar cloud providers from AWS, Azure, GCP.
• To be crack as a KLYM data scientist we also ask you to be proficient in shell scripts and the Linux-based operating system. If you have a court in machine learning you have a plus.
• You will also have to handle SQL for analytical queries: Window Functions, Joins, Aggregations, Subqueries, INSERTS, UPDATE and CREATE.
• At KLYM we also evaluate that you have competence in programming data structures, complexity and algorithms.
• Do you know statistics? To aspire to the position it is mandatory that you know about multivariate descriptive and inferential learning.
• It is desirable that you have notions about deep learning.
• You should know Bayesian and functional data analysis and time series.
• It is mandatory that you master the topic of supervised and unsupervised learning.
