The Corporate Operations Group exists to operationalize the Databricks corporate strategy by leading the optimization of programs, processes, cross functional alignment and engagement models to scale the business for continued hyper-growth. Successful candidates for the role will possess both a strategic business outlook and the keen analytical skills to be able to look at the data and requirements of various strategic initiatives, while understanding the bigger picture and business objectives. The impact you will have:

• Work closely with VP Corporate Operations and Functional Operations leaders to drive cross functional success across our corporate initiatives
• Create alignment across the organization around our corporate initiatives
• Work effectively in a highly matrixed environment, across multiple stakeholders, to lead and manage program launches on behalf of the organization
• Project Management, business process analysis, strategic planning, process documentation
• Communicate and collaborate globally to all regions and across multiple levels of senior leadership on scope, timing, process and implementation of assigned projects
• Provide strategic and operationally savvy insights in large cross functional projects
• Track milestones and tasks with assigned teams • Identify and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives
• Provide timely status reports; introduce mitigation tactics to minimize project delivery risks • Facilitate team discussions and resolve conflict
• Develop trusted partnerships with all internal stakeholders to help build strategies and action plans that enable customers for success.
• Capture project scope and achieve agreement on deliverables and completion dates in partnership with various business stakeholders and partners

What we look for:

• 7+ years of project or program management experience with a proven ability to lead and deliver on strategic and tactical business objectives
• Experience in business process improvement
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build trusting relationships, credibility, and strong communications skills to influence stakeholder, connect partners to improve project decision-making, which drives business value
• Consultative approach, including ability to analyze and translate needs into requirements and process flows
• Leadership experience in a Project / Program Management Office
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings where you will articulate complex concepts
• Strong executive presence and communication skills for C-level interactions with customer and internal Executives
• Change Oriented – works effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change. Maintains a positive outlook in difficult situations
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) as well as proven relationship-management skills; ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to all levels, including senior executive levels
• Bachelor's Degree required
