Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning - Advanced Technologies and Innovation Intern, you will:

• Support concept evaluation for advanced technologies group with primary focus on Machine Learning developments.
• Develop a preliminary model for people detection in structured off-road environments, like vineyards and orchards.
• Participate in the DAQ system definition and realization (type of sensors, sensor characteristics, data format, etc.)
• Support the data collection in the field.
• Support machine learning models development and inference, with an evaluation on the achieved performance, considering also some influence factors, e.g. environmental conditions, image size/format, image compression, etc.

This position will pay between $20.36-$33.60/hour.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Data Science, Agricultural Engineering, or other related degree area.
