As a Data Architect & Modeling Lead, the aspirant should be able to architect, design, develop, and oversee TCB’s Enterprise Data Systems. Duties include preparing Data Architectural Reports, monitoring the systems, and oversee data migrations. In this role, the aspirant should supply guidance and review existing & new data system requirements and implement migration models. Aspirant should have proven experience in data analysis, discovery, and management with excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. He should be proficient in the design & development of all aspects of Enterprise Data Architecture & Modeling including and not limited to operational data stores, data warehouse architecture/modeling, data processing and Reporting.

  • Highly proficient in the architecture, modeling, and development of an event driven data warehouse; streaming, batch, data modeling, and storage
  • Business and technical curiosity, working with others to foster ideas and produce creative solutions to difficult problems while making sensible choices balancing design and delivery.
  • Design and implement effective data solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.

  • Research and properly evaluate sources of information to determine possible limitations in reliability or usability
  • Significant experience working in sophisticated data environments in an engineering, design, and architecture capacity; including enterprise warehouses, marts, operational stores, and data lakes
  • Compare and analyze provided statistical information to identify patterns, relationships, and problems
  • Define and utilize statistical methods to solve industry-specific problems in varying fields, such as economics and engineering
  • Experienced with cloud deployment practices and patterns, building data applications that implement cloud native technologies
  • Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data
  • Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  • Expert level of understanding and implementing ETL architecture; data profiling, process flow, metric logging, and error handling
  • Defines patterns and standards for data platforms, design, engineering, and development.
  • Monitor the system performance and support continuous improvement by investigating and presenting alternatives to processes and technologies to an architectural review board
  • Develop and ensure adherence to published system architectural decisions and development standards
  • Train assistants and other members of the team how to properly organize findings and read data collected
  • Collaborates with product and engineering leads and senior management on product and delivery requirements, roadmaps, and vision.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Overall experience and a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Expert level in Enterprise data warehouse design/architecture, dimensional data modeling, data vault, data mining and ETL process development
  • Experience working with private and sensitive PII data.
  • Experience working with Erwin data modeling tool, distributed systems, data integration and expertise in streaming processing.
  • Hands on experience Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in collaborating with data engineering & database administrators and is a plus
  • Exposure to Python, Data Science and Machine Learning methodologies desired.
  • Working knowledge of technical engineering best practices including test driven development, continuous integration, DevOps
  • Working knowledge of work management and collaboration tools (Azure DevOps and Confluence preferred)
  • Data driven, with a solid understanding of how to synthesize large amount of data into an executive view
  • Possess excellent communication skills and are highly articulate, persuasive with excellent presentation skills to the executive with expertise in PowerPoint and presentation best practices.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid experience in driving Automation, Data Quality Security and Governance practices.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills are required when meeting with and interviewing potential clients
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, meet deadlines, demonstrate good time management, and multi-task in a fast-paced project environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS related area required or equivalent experience (industry experience substitutable)
