Job Description

Databricks is looking for motivated individuals with a passion for data science and enthusiasm to work with our customers to join our EMEA Machine Learning team. You will travel to customer sites to work on professional services engagements, teach machine learning and data science courses, and directly improve our product roadmap to improve the data science experience.

The impact you will have:

  • Scale customer data science workloads and implement new pipelines
  • Deliver on-site training to our strategic customers and public classes at conferences such as Spark+AI Summit
  • Mentor others in the company on data science best practices and contribute to our ML SME programme
  • Work with Product Management/Engineering/Design to influence product roadmap and prioritise customer requests

What we look for:

  • 3+ years of industry data science experience
  • University degree in a quantitative discipline (Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research)
  • Expertise in Python and data science libraries including Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and Keras
  • Explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Travel up to 60%
  • [Preferred] Experience with Spark & Databricks
