As an Associate Incident Manager, you will use your customer-focused approach to lead important customer situations to a solution. You will use your technical experience and will lead urgent customer situations to a conclusion. You will guide partner investigations, guide communication between cloud partners and senior incident managers. The impact you will have:

• Guide important customer escalations or widespread outages to a conclusion and resolution. Escalate to on-call resources in support and engineering and establish action items to ensure that progress is made and status updates are delivered.
• Compile notes and milestones of ongoing investigations to be delivered to senior incident management staff for distribution to the proper audiences.
• Work with senior incident management staff to create roadmaps for incident resolution, and engage the proper teams to ensure that the plan is carried out
• Communicate incident updates and timelines to team members and customers.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Ensure that incident details are thoroughly documented. Be willing to inspect and research historical data to fill in documentation gaps.
• Work holidays and weekends as part of an on-call rotation.

What we look for:

• Experience in technical support, consulting, or application engineering with a background in big data platforms or cloud/SaaS platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP is required.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux OS and networking issues.
• Exposure to Java application troubleshooting.
• You show technical excellence by applying engineering principles to resolve technical problems.
• You collaborate with a desire to work in a fast-faced environment.
• M.S. or B.S in Computer Science or other equivalent technology required.
