As an early engineer to join our team, you'll have the opportunity to materially impact and scale not just the company's product but also the team and the culture. you'll get to experiment with and innovate on interesting AI tasks that materially impact user experience, and work alongside exceptionally strong co-workers who learn quickly and ship quality work.

What you'll work on:

• Designing, implementing, evaluating, deploying and iterating on neural information retrieval models
• Researching and leveraging cutting-edge progress in NLP and ML in academia and industry by staying abreast with new publications, conferences, and product applications
• Leading greenfield initiatives as we expand to use cases beyond search and information retrieval

You qualify if you have:

• 1+ years of industry or research experience in information retrieval or NLP
• 1+ years of experience using at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch preferred)

• Curiosity and a love for your craft
• An intuitive grasp for product-level thinking and how AI and NLP can be used to create entirely new product experiences
• Strong communication skills
