We're hiring in SF Bay Area / Remote.

As an interaction software engineer at Wispr, you will work closely with the co-founders. Wispr is creating a new kind of personal computing device and you will be architecting the interface and interactions to create a seamless HCI.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Design the backend to integrate with a number of APIs
• Explore using GPT-3, Github Copilot, and other large language models as basis for new interfaces
• Build the front-end application to test with users
• Setup best engineering practices for the software engineering team

Required Knowledge & Experience

• MS or BS in computer science or related engineering field
• Built a hands-on project with GPT / Github Copilot / other LLMs
• 2+ years hands-on relevant engineering experience in software or data engineering
• Proficient in Python & React; Built full stack apps from scratch
• Strong programming practices and high-throughput of code across the stack
• Organized, self-directed, efficient, collaborative

Nice to have Knowledge & Experience

• Worked on the internals of large language models or trained NLP systems with terabytes of training data
• Experience building applications with NLP or doing NLP / NLU research
• Worked on building assistants
