Job Description

As an AI Program Manager, you will lead AI projects to build reliable, robust, and scalable AI technology for the most challenging and fundamental problems the industry faces. You will support Gauss Labs' mission to be the world's most trusted industrial AI innovator. If you are the ideal candidate, you must possess a strong project management background with experience building relationships with external business partners. The candidate should identify business opportunities in customers' factories where Gauss Labs' AI solutions can help improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency. To overcome business and technical challenges, you have to plan the AI project strategically and manage the team to deliver outstanding performance. You will be required to professionally report the result to various stakeholders at global sites, including Gauss Labs' executives and customers.

Resoponsibilities

• Define an AI project by translating business issues in manufacturing into mathematical problems AI researchers can understand.
• Plan a project with cost analysis, essential tasks, milestones, and sucess criteria.
• Manage project members from multifunctional teams to deliver the project's goal in time.
• Communicate with various stakeholders and customers at global sites.
• Write technical documents for regular project reviews and business meetings.
• Define business requirements to create software specifications and architecture.
• Work unsupervised and drive complex programs successfully.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• +3 years of industrial experience in project management for manufacturing, software development, machine learning, or related field.
• Working knowledge in machine learning, data engineering, software development, cloud, ML DevOps. or computer vision.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills in both Korean and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in engineering.
• +5 years of industrial experience in AI project management related to process control, metrology, equipment, or data analysis in semiconductor, display, or battery manufacturing.
