Job Description

Gauss Labs is looking for talented interns for developing cutting-edge Industrial AI solutions that will normalize the standard of AI for manufacturing. We are working with the world's best manufacturing customers while accessing the vast amount of real data from their manufacturing processes. We apply state-of-the-art AI technologies to the data and develop unprecedented AI solutions to transform manufacturing to the next level. You will conduct research on advanced computer vision algorithms and develop AI SW modules by working with the best R&D teams located in Seoul, South Korea, and Palo Alto, California, USA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Computer Vision and Image Processing algorithms to improve the quality of semiconductor images and detect anomalies in the input images.
  • Use Deep Learning, Machine Learning algorithms, advanced mathematical models, and signal processing technologies to devise practical solutions.
  • Develop image metrology modules that are integrated into the Gauss Labs's Manufacturing AI platform.
  • Provide technical contributions in a fast-paced team environment to accelerate our efforts on building computer vision solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Recommend experiments, suggest new algorithmic development, and make tactical decisions about technical approaches.
  • Present compelling stories to team members and stakeholders throughout and at the completion of the internship.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics and related fields.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Computer Vision, Image Processing, Deep Learning and Machine Learning algorithms, working with Computer Vision and Machine Learning libraries and tools.
  • Experience in developing, training and evaluating Deep Learning and Machine Learning models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras and related Deep Learning frameworks.
  • Experience in implementing algorithms for low-level Computer Vision, Image Processing, Anomaly Detection, Image Classification, Object Detection, Semantic Segmentation, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming with Python or C++ with strong background in algorithms and data structures.

- Interns will go to Silicon Valley according to performance evaluation of their work periods in Seoul.

- The work periods in Seoul (Full-time and part-time) are mandatory.

- Interns can work flexibly during the part-time period in Seoul.
