Job Description

JOB DUTIES: Utilize advanced analytic techniques such as machine learning and predictive modeling to solve problems in healthcare. Operationalize machine learning in our platform pipeline for a growing database of longitudinal health information. Work with our infrastructure and data engineering teams on performance optimization requirements. Work with partners, prospects, and internal stakeholders to understand data science needs, and transform them into requirements. Assist customer-facing teams during presales, implementations, and customer usage. Explain research study design and advanced statistical modeling techniques to non-technical audiences. Provide subject-matter expertise to supplement quantitative analysis when guiding the analysis plan and validating results. Telecommuting is permitted.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree inComputer Science/ Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Mining, Systems Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related field. Alternatively, Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Mining, Systems Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience must include two (2) years of experience with:

• Apache
• Spark
• Python
• R
• Familiarity with generalized linear models, random forest, and statistical methods such as hierarchical/mixed-effects modeling & regularization
