Aera Technology is looking for an expert Data Scientist based in Pune, India. You will be working closely with some of the biggest clients. You will be supporting them and you will also get opportunities to work on new and challenging data science problems.

Responsibilities

• You will work as an operational data scientist. Your role will include Data Science Support and Operations. 
• You will be the main point of contact for ensuring that models in production run successfully
• You will be responsible for doing root cause analysis and resolving any issues in the data science projects. 
• You will work on building & delivering end to end data science projects - working in a highly collaborative environment with other experts in data science, supply chain, customer and engineering teams
• You will work on building statistical/ML models for a variety of problems
• You will perform complex data analysis using Python and SQL. And you will clearly present your analysis to customers and stakeholders

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field with a focus on Data Analysis/Data Science. 
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist; in a product development setting
• Experience in building and supporting Full-Cycle Data Science projects
• Strong skills in SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with software development & including translating ML models into scalable production services
• Good intuitive understanding of machine learning algorithms and practical experience building models with incremental/iterative approach
• Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms using APIs/libraries (e.g from sklearn)
• Experience in working with large data sets
• Good documentation skills. You have a habit of writing clean and clear documentation for your work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You take complete ownership of your work and are self-driven
