Job Description

As a Data Scientist at Striveworks you’ll be challenged—and trusted—on day one to be a core contributor to the projects and direction of the company.

You’re right for this challenge if you value and possess technical expertise and you push the boundaries of your own capabilities. In this mission-critical work, you will select and design analytics within a vertically integrated system that spans from sensor to platform to end user. You will train, deploy, and refine machine learning models tailored to the customer’s needs. You will implement and extend a diverse set of algorithms. Our mission is focused on task automation, data analytics, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $190,000-$240,000/year. In addition to base pay Striveworks offers annual performance-based equity paired with a lucrative cash bonus, as well as a full benefits suite.

Here’s what else we’re looking for:

• Mastery of Python
• Ability to design, implement, and document scalable code
• Deep understanding and intuition around machine learning techniques, statistical, and predictive modelling
• Ability to communicate results with visualizations
• Driven, self-directed personality
• Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference
• 2+ years relevant experience and/or B.S. degree in related discipline
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance

The Wish List

We’re very interested in Data Scientists that possess the above qualifications, and heavily appreciate and consider the addition of:

• Knowledge of data pipelines
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks
• Advanced (MS or PhD) degrees in mathematics, physics, statistics, machine learning, or related quantitative disciplines
