Job Description

BI Analysts help Blitz make critical data-informed decisions about our company, product and engineering strategy. They ensure we’re always hyper-serving our players' needs.

As a Staff BI Analyst in Blitz China, you’ll discover actionable insights by analyzing large complex datasets and market research, and apply those insights by partnering with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Data Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build data dashboards that measure company performance + player resonance
• Guide future product strategy by discovering insights in player behavior
• Improve operational excellence by discovering insights in product quality
• Inform business strategy with insights about competitors and the market landscape
• Collaborate with Software Engineers + Data Engineers + Product Managers

Required Qualifications

• Experience building data dashboards, based on data analytics / statistics / modeling
• Experience with data analysis technologies (Tableau, PowerBI, Baidu SugarBI, …)
• Experience analyzing large datasets and informing company strategy
• Strong structured problem-solving + critical thinking skills in ambiguous situations
• Experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team
• Passionate about gaming (in particular LoL)
• Native fluency in Mandarin, and written fluency in English
