Job Description

ClosedLoop is looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher to lead the execution of high-value research projects across the ClosedLoop user journey. You’ll work closely with designers and product managers to build a shared understanding of user needs among a diverse set of user personas - from data scientists and analysts to doctors and nurses. You’ll lead the identification and execution of user research and testing opportunities, including recruitment efforts, synthesis into insights, and communication of findings to a diverse set of stakeholders.

Who you are:

You’re an experienced B2B user experience researcher, and are well versed in generative and evaluative research methods. Managing multiple projects at once doesn’t phase you, and you thrive working independently in fast-paced environments. You are motivated and interested in the opportunity to lead the growing research team at ClosedLoop.

What you’ll do:

• Own the team’s end-to-end user research process and ensure on time and polished deliverables
• Collaborate closely with design and product leads to identify and execute user research opportunities and ensure the work we deliver adds meaningful value to our users and our business
• Contribute to our iterative design process by planning and executing user testing
• Synthesize and communicate research findings at the right level for diverse audiences in a way that fosters user empathy and inspires action
• Lead recruiting efforts across projects, and ensure we have the right tools and processes in place to coordinate sessions successfully
• Collaboratively develop user research roadmaps

What you’ve done:

• 5+ years experience leading generative and evaluative research studies
• Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase
• Shaped the scope of research and its timelines based on the needs of the business and product, often under tight time constraints
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with B2B and enterprise tools and platforms preferred
• Familiarity with analytics/data science or healthcare a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in human behavior related field (e.g. psychology, information science, human-computer interaction, etc.) (or equivalent)
• Portfolio of past projects required
