Job Description
Our mission is to maximize the value of advertising delivered to advertisers and Meta users, through formulating machine learning/optimization problems to enable next-generation ads products, innovating in cutting-edge machine learning algorithms, executing with an end to end mindset and achieve business goals. The expertise of our engineering team covers disciplinary research and engineering areas including machine learning, large scale recommender systems, multi-variable optimization and generalist background across infra and product.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage and support diverse teams of software engineers and engineering managers
- Provide both technical and organizational leadership
- Impact over all time-scales through sound long term strategies and well executed upon short-to-mid-to-long term roadmaps
- Set up the org for growth in a self-sustainable manner through effective processes, and run a high-functioning XFN leadership group
- Uphold a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion, innovation
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of technical industry experience
- 7+ years of management experience
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, leading technical organizations, including performance management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing machine learning teams in advertising
- BS / MS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience)
