Job Description

Your Role in Dunzo’s Journey | Sr. Data Scientist - 1

Sr. Data Scientist at Dunzo is expected to work on deeply technical Data Science projects of company-wide impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build reliable and scalable Data Science models
  • Work closely with stakeholders in Product and Business teams and translate abstract problem statements into achievable Data Science tasks
  • Work closely with Analysts and Engineers on detailing requirements, creating high and low level designs and deploying DS solutions
  • Lead by example, mentor and guide junior Data Scientists on everything from structured problem solving to best practices in Data Science.

Must haves:

  • 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience (across multiple domains) in building great Data Science models of high business impact
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency in at least one of NLP, Optimization techniques, Machine Learning and Recommender systems, Time Series Modeling
  • Experience in independently deploying models to Production with hands-on experience in infrastructure

Good to haves:

  • Research publications in NLP or Machine Learning in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience in building search engines
  • Experience in supply chain modeling 
  • Experience in Deep learning 
  • Experience in Reinforcement learning
  • Experience in model lifecycle management
  • Hands-on experience in using libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn, Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow etc.
