Job Description

The AlphaLayer team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Quant Researcher to help in the building, execution, and delivery of transformative products. We are focused on building Artificial Intelligence(AI)/Machine Learning (ML) solutions within the investment management space, including both front and back-office operations.

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of classical Machine learning models extremely well and also has some knowledge of deep learning models
• Solid foundation in statistical estimation theory and probability theory
• Understanding the need for efficient algorithm design
• Writing code consistent with object oriented programming methodologies
• Some familiarity with multivariate optimization methods
• Some familiarity with monte-carlo simulation methods

Financial Market Knowledge:

• Above average level knowledge of various financial markets, as well as the theory surrounding them

Collaboration & Interpersonal SKills:

• You take initiative on collaborating actively with others on projects
• You are often giving their opinions and attending meetings with others, in order to help collaborate
• You are able to clearly and articulately communicate with clients who may be specialized in a particular financial investment discipline
• You listen to other opinions and provide constructive feedback to other team members
