Job Description
Veeva is looking to build next-generation applications to analyze large quantities of medical data while preserving patient privacy. We’re looking to fully use the power of big-data analysis tools and distributed computing to achieve this goal. Our data platform will require a tech lead who could elevate our future applications and make the best use of advanced technologies, and design architecture.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop cutting-edge software solutions.
- Provide support and guide scalable development across multiple Crossix applications.
- Be a technical authority to improve software performance and resilience.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of Java object-oriented development experience.
- At least 3 years working with Big-Data application design, ideally involving Hadoop Spark.
- Experience with asynchronous and multithreaded programming.
- Experience in the development of distributed and scalable systems.
- Experience with Hadoop Spark, including writing Java applications, deployment, and maintenance.
- Highly motivated, result-oriented, and fast learner.
Nice to Have
- MySQL experience.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- AWS Cloud technologies experience.
