Job Description

We are looking for someone with analytical problem solving abilities to assist with leading projects and work with ambitious technology professionals to deliver a wide range of application or system solutions. You'll also have the opportunity to provide technical guidance and leadership so that you can lead the requirement sessions to map out the proper strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Business Analysis and Project Management.
• Ensure all aspects of the development life cycle specific to building/ integrating applications are followed while maintaining consistent with overall design
• Analyze the requirements and provide the solution for the requirements
• Create Design documentation in the area of DB Management/Reporting applications.
• Lead development effort in building Datawarehouse/Data Mart Applications.
• Coordinate delivery effort by working closely with various technology workstreams (ex: Infrastructure, System Admin, Testing)

Qualifications:

• Design and develop reports and dashboards
• Leveraging deep ETL skills and database knowledge.
• Ability to implement best practices for software development and operations
• Solid knowledge in business intelligence, web analytics, report development and working knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling and data mining
• Experience with the following ETL tools: SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, SPOTFIRE, Data Integrator
• Experience with AI Machine Learning
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and ability to design software systems
• Strong skills in troubleshooting
• Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in Power BI and AI Machine Learning ,SQL and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, Graphic Design preferred.
• Team leadership experience
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
• Knowledge of coding accessible websites; AODA and WCAG 2.0
• Experience with front-end development coding languages and technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script)
• Familiarity with debugging and testing techniques
• In-depth knowledge of User Experience / User Interface principles and best practices, user research techniques.
• Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
